His legacy
Autism Awareness
Aaron was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 1/2. It was very diffcult for him communicate to others since he did not talk. But Aaron made the best with what he had. He was a vibrant, fun loving child who loved to test your limits. He was very strong willed and was very adamant with the things that he did not want or want to do.

During is his time at West Creek Elementary School, Aaron learned to express his needs and wants non verbally, he learned to eat by himself and was able to use a spoon and fork. These things we take for granted with our "regular" children, but for Aaron, this was a challenge.

We were very excited when at the age of 4, Aaron was fully potty trained. We just never thought we would see that day, but he surprised us all. After that, there was no turning back. My goal for Aaron was help him to be  able to function in society by himself once he became an adult.

As his family, we continue on to help spread Autism Awareness within our community. This disability is so widely misunderstood by many. We just want to be able to give these children an fighting chance in this society.
